Hello class! I thought I would give you the layout for your Informative Speech (the link I've provided here gives you a list of different topics you can choose from online) outline and what I'm expecting you to have in it. Here's what you need in your speech:
*Introduction
-Attention getter (something that stands out when you begin. Like a personal story, a fact, a rhetorical question, etc.)
-Relevance (why it's important to the audience)
-Thesis (tell us what you're gonna tell us)
-Preview (Tell us the 3 things you're gonna discuss about your topic)
*Body
-Idea 1
-Idea 2
-Idea 3
*Conclusion
-Review (Repeat again the 3 things you just talked about)
-Closing statement
-This is just a brief overview of what you need, if you have any questions please let me know!
